I guess, the minimum is 1600 WITH the waveguide. But it depends on the acoustic phase Tweeter-Midrange, so you have to caculate, whats the best compromise with boxsim 2.0.

The Studio 2 sounds very well, esp. with a subwoofer. The Vimo is cheeper and bigger, also a fine speaker.

I happen to have a pair of G25FFL's already, so they are the best/cheapest option. I also have a pair of waveguides.

How low a frequency at what slope can the G25FFL be crossed at in the WG148R/WG220x150 waveguide?

I see that the "Studio 1" crosses it at 1600Hz, the "Chess, Kompaktbox in Hobby Hifi 5/2013" uses 2000Hz and the "ViMo Shelf speaker as in K+T 6/2016" crosses it at 1800Hz with the waveguide.

The "ProBox Shelf speaker as in K+T 2/2019" crosses the G25FFL at 1900Hz and the "ProBox 6 dB Shelf speaker as in K+T 2/2019" crosses it at 1800Hz without a waveguide.

I prefere the Ke 25 SC, which ist also not perfect off axix, but sounds great.

Should the response of G25FFL be the same in WG148 as WG220-150?

The response of the G25FFL in a waveguide looks quite different in Boxsim than it does in the first post here.

Does the G25FFL in the waveguide really have the huge on axis dip at 15KHz that Boxsim shows?

zum ersten mal eine messung im waveguide, ... sehr gut, ...

den rest bekommt man aktiv korrigiert, ... eine kleine überhöhung bei 3 khz mit schmalbandigem filter minus 2 dB, ... und dann einen breitbandigen filter bei 11-12 khz, minus 3 dB, der sollte sich auswirken bis zur stufe bei 8 khz, ... ansonsten sieht dies extrem gut aus, ... eine überhöhung bei 15 khz und mehr spielt keine rolle mehr, ganz im gegenteil, ... es klingt luftiger bei einer superhochtonüberhöhung

die obelix ist nicht nur optisch der hammer sondern auch akustisch, ... mitteltöner sieht super aus und auch der hochtöner im waveguide, der bass selbst wird eh vom raum bestimmt, und da müssen nur genügend filter da sein, zur korrektur, ... bei den hypexen sollte es aber auch funktionieren, ...
