    1. Why does Boxsinin need more information on the loudspeaker box to be simulated than other simulation programs?

Most loudspeaker simulation programs calculate their result either based solely on Thiele Small parameters and an infinite baffle, or based on measured frequency responses in the box to be simulated. With these programs, at least for the frequency response on the axis, information on the baffle size and the position of the chassis on the baffle is not required. However, it is not possible to simulate a box for whose chassis there is no measurement data on the same position of an identically large baffle.

Boxsim goes a different way here. Boxsim simulates on the basis of frequency cycles measured in a standardized environment, calculates back on an infinite baffle (half-space) and from there on the respective position on a baffle of any size. Therefore, it is necessary in Boxsim to indicate the sound wall dimensions and the position of the chassis on the baffle.

[COLOR=#8e44ad]or based on measured frequency responses in the box to be simulated.
That's the method I prefer. And until just now I also thought that such measurements were also the basis for this thread. But that is probably not the case.

Specifically, I have long since inserted the measurements of the actual box that will be used since it is already available, those of the transducers and their specific positions on the front panel.

Can you please show the measurements or, better, your Boxsim file?

The frequency-response in Boxsim is good, but how does the measured Frequency-response looks like?

If jou wont to change the speaker-position, you can do it this way, instead of manipulating the SEO.

I didn't check the phase button because I only entered the frequency response and impedance. The software calculated the respective phases. I have no idea what the measured frequency response looks like because I haven't acquired the necessary equipment yet. Unfortunately, I can no longer change the cabinet since it's finished as per the preview. The cabinet dimensions had been established in advance based on the manufacturer's recommended volumes. Then I discovered BoxSim and realized that perhaps they weren't the best dimensions.

Without measurement of phase Boxsim cant simulate this. But you can easily test by listening if the phase ist ok. Play a sinus of 2000 Hz and chance the polarity of ONE driver. If the tone is much more silent, the phase is ok. Reverse the polarity again and enjoy the music.
