If you're planning a sub/sat- system, there's no recommendation for <<bass>> on the fronts (and especially the center)...

I've made some thoughts and wrote them down on my website (here in the german section)...

Maybe you should have a look...
I've tried to write in easy sentences, so that a translation with f. x. Babelfish should give propper results...
(Perhaps I should translate it by myself in an upcomming update)
    MfG B.

          No.
          Taken from the description

The tuning frequency cuts in at 110 Hz.
If your budget is 80 €, it's a good start to build the subwoofer, I've linked, first.
That is about 60 € (without sub- amp)...

Lateron, you can start to collect speakers one by one, even when the money allows it, you buy the parts...

          MfG B.

              Hi,

you want a cheap, small, but good speaker? Look at the 'Aria Ultralight' filter diagram above.

I build a pair for my mother to christmas, they looks so:

more about, but in german: http://woofa.abi05.info/selbstbau/ar...ultralight.htm

a little bass it can reproduce, but remember the size. Small speakers don't have really bass.

Cheap, good and with pretty good bass:

              more about in german: http://woofa.abi05.info/selbstbau/ku...eschallung.htm

Filter: look for the 'Alto I / II' filter, an replace the 8,2 Ohms resistor in series to the Tweeter with a 3,3Ohms resistor. Sounds good, and can reproduce bass you can feel, but you can't buildt it smaller than 20-25 Litres.
              Grüße,

                SPH-100AL, DT-107, Visaton HW2/70NG-8 filter,

If you take a woofer, a tweeter and such a allround crossover like the visaton crossover, your tweeter will not burn and there will be some output. But if you build one of the recommended speakers ( see my mail, then check prices on the free market and if the budget is very tight on ebay ) you will get a speaker that also sounds good, most likely better than a speaker you can buy for that price.
And if one day you want more power and more bass, you can build a subwoofer.

Solo the Aria Ultralight makes some bass. Will be best in combination with a subwoofer.

Like this, but the other tweeter (SC10N) needs an other hole-diameter.

                          regards Stefan

                            Aight,

I am building the Mini-Monitor now :-) but then a smaller version 8l BR..

But i got a question, WinISD is saying that i need to use a 0,47 vent diameter , the lenght must be 16,21cm!

Aight, now i am taking and reading from the Hobby-Hifi mini-monitor, they use 50mm and the lenght is 11CM..

                            But WinISD says:
                            12,72 as lenght..

But why the magazine says 11cm?

Now i can get a Visaton -BR19.24 but with the 8l is must be 27,88 lenght ??

I can get a 50mm vent diameter and a lenght of 14,5CM, but WinISD says i need 18,75???

                            Pls help me out..

                            The speaker rules @ 8 L

                            And whats better to use?

                            Pritex of Sheepwol or Polyster?
                            Magazine says polyester..
