Repair super tweeter Visaton TL16H

due to a problem with the amplifier my Visaton TL16Hs burned out, there is no replacement. the coil is a 16mm aluminum dome also mounted on other models. Can anyone help me find a compatible replacement?

the representative for Italy replied that they cannot be repaired and that I have to buy them new

You may contact the german Visaton-Headquarters here in Haan, Germany per E-Mail.
I am quiet sure they are able to speak english.
Maybe they are able and willing to repair it,
but another problem will be that it cannot be surely determined from distance,
if your Tweeter is still repairable,
or if it is damaged BEYOND repair, which would mean it´ll be useless to send it to Germany.

If you add together the money needed for postal services, spare parts and the working time the Visaton-Service would need to get that done,
it may be cheaper to try to find a good offer for a used, but working Tweeter in the end,
but i am not really aware of the prices asked for that Tweeter....

The list price per piece is 388€.
For this amount of money you can ship many things many times.
I would definitely send them in for repair.

It's a new one for €230.
I already wrote it above.
I think this price is good and a repair will definitely not be cheaper
