Does anyone on this site speak English?

I am very interested in building a Visaton 3-way speaker, but they are not well known in the U.S.
I would like to hear opinions from those of you who have them.

    Thank you!

      Hi Neil,
I think you'll find many technical competent, english spoken folks here; especially since many here either study at universities or already have their degree.
I'm sure you'll get proper tips and answers if you post your questions.

Give us some additional information about the new speakers! Kind of music, required dB, size of room where they should be installed, design aspects, amplifier....

            Ok,

My room is 6 metres by 10 metres, with high ceilings. It takes a fairly large amount of bass output to energize the room. I have multiple amplifiers, all high end solid state from 50 to 200 watts per channel. I listen to every type of music- Tori Amos, Massive Attack, Diana Krall, Cassandra Wilson, Patricia Barbar, The Rolling Stones, etc. My main concern - I do not like bright speakers, especially those that emphasize sibilants!

            Does that help?

            Cheers,

            Neil

              I almost forgot......

I would also consider the VIB 2000 GF if the bass output is substantial enough!

If you can accept the price, my advice would be the VOX300. I heard this speaker myself and its sound is really neutral. The combination with a Rotel RB1090BX drives this speaker to breathtaking levels easily. This speaker combines a clean sound without the emphasis of any frequencies. The TIW360 is a world-class woofer combining a low cut-off with high power handling and a great punch. The Atlas compact MKIV is also highly recommended.

Do you prefer a deep sub-bass to a clean punch? In that case, try to get a pair of the Atlas DSM MK2. In large rooms, the high-range will not be sharp as we see in our own room.

A pair of 10 inch (or smaller) woofers will not be adequate for 60m^2 at all. A subwoofer will certainly be needed to support such devices.

I tried to do a looseley translation:

It just said that there is an update for the Experience V20 with the GF200 instead of the W200S.

The GF200 has a longer Voice Coil than the W200S, because of that you can reach a higher Bass Level.

The Tweeter was also replaced (G25HE instead of G25FFL), which makes a better sound in high frequencies.

An if somebody hast already built a V20, thats no Problem because the new Spaeakers will also fit without having to change the Enclousure.

I hope this helps you a bit.

Ok, let me try it. I have not translated word by word.

As a modification of EXPERIENCE V20 now a variant has been built which uses two GF200 instead of W200S and a G25HE instead of a G25FFL. The basic concept so has not been touched. Due to the significantly longer voice coil of the GF200 (20mm) compared with the W200S (12mm) the power capacity for bass could be enforced and the bass at all is more tight. The exchange of the Tweeter result in more balanced upper frequencies.

Note from me: The linear displacement of GF200 is 14mm (20mm voice coil length - 6mm height of upper pole plate). W200S has 7mm (12mm length of voice coil - 5mm height of upper pole plate).
This means that it can displace 100% more air or four times the power of a W200S without nonlinear cone displacement.

Edit: Just recognized that postings have overlapped.
