Question about Boxsim, Open Baffle and baffle "thickness"

When setting up Boxsim for open baffle, does it work with a "thick" baffle like in this example?

It depends on what you expect how it should work.
If you enter 11cm thickness for the baffle, Boxsim will assume, that the sound from the rear side of the driver is emitted from 11cm behind the baffle. You can see in the phase response, that the sound from the vent will come 11cm later (e.g 90° at about 780Hz)
Boxsim does not calculate the time that is needed from the diaphragm to this place.
