Unser Distributor aus Australien hat uns ein E-Mail eines Kunden mit Fotos und einer Klangbeschreibung der VOX 200 geschickt. Ich habe mit Erlaubnis des Boxenbauers den Bericht hier veröffentlicht.
I had both Vox 200 speakers complete and playing by 12:30 this afternoon and
have listened to them for over 6 hours now. I had built these as part of a
second system for our rumpus room in the new home we are currently building.
My Audax KLS11 speakers are to take pride of place in a separate room
devoted purely to my two-channel equipment. Having listened to the Vox 200
speakers this afternoon and using a large variety of music from country and
blue grass to Midnight Oil and Queens of the Stone Age, both CD and vinyl,
I'm sure I'll have to revise my plans to relegate the Visatons to the second
system in the rumpus room! As good as the Audax are I have to admit that
the Visatons are more precise and are stunning in the way they image. The
bass, at least in this room is tight, well extended and more than adequate.
The most outstanding area though is the mid range which as I said earlier is
just superb.
These speakers sounded good enough in your house James for me to make the
decision to go with them over some others I was considering, however, I must
say that I never expected them to sound this good once I had my own
enclosures worked up. I've listened to a lot of high priced commercially
made loudspeakers over the years and the Vox 200 are equal to or better than
speakers selling up to and well beyond the 10K mark. Once again I'm more
than pleased with the end result and I'll certainly be recommending these
drivers highly at every opportunity.
If you are ever over in this part of town or would like to make the trip
specifically, it would be a pleasure to let you listen to them here. I
don't think I'll be disconnecting them till it's time for us to move house
in about 5 - 6 weeks.
Cheers,
Keith
