Should I go for this driver?

Hi

I am about to order two W170S Visaton drivers for my future budget loudspeakers (enough with simulating!). These drivers aren't expensive, but hey, I live in Romania. The "preliminary" (read pre-TS-measurements) dimensions of the enclosures are these:
L = 39.5"
zd = 14.63" (position of woofer relative to top)
zp = 37" (position of port relative to top)
S = 63"^2 (cross-sectional area)
stuffing density = 0.2
rp = 1.25" (port radius)
Lp = 4.125" (port length)

I wanted to have a last confirmation because Visaton has a good reputation in the DIY world, but you can never know what to expect with cheaper drivers. I wouldn't like to find myself replacing the drivers with $10 chinese ones and obtain the same results. I am especially concerned with the time domain performance.
If you're going to ask me "what about the tweeters?", I can't afford good tweeters right now, I'm planing to use crappy ones until I'll afford to buy some G20SC's, maybe... I just want to get the woofers in order to measure them and (re-)design the enclosure.
The loudspeakers will be used with a home-made Quad-707 amplifier, with with a decent soundcard as source.
I'd really like to know if these drivers will fit in this setup, or if I'm wasting my money. If you think that making some more savings for another better driver... say an AL170 is worth, please advize me. Remember when making any recommendations, I am on a budget. And also that it's really hard to get the chance to test the driver you're looking for before buying around here.

ich habe mr_push_pull auf dieses Forum verwiesen.

Bin leider selbst kein großer Kenner des Visaton Programms. Es geht einfach darum, ob der W170S für die gewünschte TQWT wohl die beste Preis-Leistungslösung ist.

Da mr_push_pull in Rumänien lebt, hat es keinen Sinn, ihm doppelt und dreimal so teure Lösungen vorzuschlagen. Besonders liegt mr_push_pull an Aussagen zum Zeitverhalten (Sprungantwort ?). Hat jemand dazu was quantitatives?
Falls erforderlich, übernehm ich auch gerne eine Übersetzung. Die gleiche Frage diskutiert mr_push_pull bei

which programm are you working with? do you already know the hobby-hifi article "morion"? this is a 2way tml with w170s an g20sc.
in this article there are also several measurements of the whole box and the w170s, including time response (heisst das so?) and a drawing of the enclosure.

Does someone have measurements of the driver? If necessarily, I will gladly translate to mr_push_pull.

If you have the patience to wait over the weekend, I will scan the Hobby Hifi measurements, eevilobihoernchen was talking about, for you. I think that´s the most independent and informative information you can look for.

And thanks to all the other people that posted too. That Morion looks very nice. So does the "WHy 3.02 2,5-Wege" "Coax" and the "We-Has 'Coax'" (?), but all I can understand is the picture and the frequency response, I'm so curious what the guys talk about there... You can't imagine how frustrating it is not to know German.
